Personal Lines - Home, Auto and Umbrella Coverages

Homeowners Insurance

Our homeowners insurance policies provides protection for personal property and liability (see Liability page). Each policy covers specific perils, has a particular set of conditions and a list of specific exclusions. Therefor your policy must be carefully composed to cover your lifestyle needs. Policies of modest homes or homes of significant value will be customized to provide the best protection at the best price. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. Insurance companies like Travelers, Hartford, Chubb and many others will be considered when evaluating your specific requirements. Variable factors like size, type of construction, location and personal items are taken into consideration.

Auto Insurance

Auto insurance is one of the most heavily advertised insurance coverages. Methods of "saving 15% on your car insurance" are neither a secret nor a generous gift. As a result of having many insurance companies to compare coverages and rates I will be able to seek out the best protection and rates for you.

Umbrella Liability Insurance

Umbrella insurance is a type of liability insurance, also called “excess liability insurance” (see Liability page). It provides additional liability coverage (not property coverage) above what your homeowners and auto policies cover. Umbrella insurance is designed to protect you from living a nightmare of lawsuits.

I have a variety of companies who specialize these areas.

A time of loss is very stressful. Relying on your memory as to what personal items were lost, ranging from clothes to kitchen appliances to jewelry, is never accurate. The best preparation is to create a file of photographs or a video of each room and closet, particularly the inventory of fine jewelry and artwork. These photos or video should be stored in a separate location. Saving copies of receipts of large ticket items will avoid value discrepancies.
